The past few weeks have been quite the joy ride for PGA Tour star Wyndham Clark.
Despite facing a hostile crowd at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club two weeks ago, Clark pulled through and captured his second U.S. Open title. It was a moment the Colorado native will never forget.
"I’m not sure I’ve found the words yet. If I’m being honest, last year wasn’t filled with many highs. There were a lot more questions than answers, a lot more frustration than celebration, and plenty of moments that tested my belief in myself. This game can be incredibly humbling. It doesn’t owe you anything, and sometimes the only thing you can do is keep showing up and trust that the work will eventually pay off. That’s why this week means so much," Clark said after winning his second major championship. "To the fans, thank you for making this championship what it is. New York crowds are passionate, honest, and demanding. Whether you were pulling for me or not, you created an atmosphere I’ll never forget and pushed all of us to compete at our best. Thank you to the USGA , the members of Shinnecock Hills, the volunteers, and every person behind the scenes who made this week so special. This place is everything a U.S. Open should be, and I’m incredibly honored to have my name connected to it forever."
Judging by his recent Instagram activity, Clark has been taking his U.S. Open trophy around the country.

Clark and his girlfriend, Emily Tanner, were recently at SoFi Stadium to watch a World Cup match. After watching Spain take care of Austria in the Round of 32, they decided to enjoy a day by the water.
Tanner, who has over 740,000 Instagram followers, turned plenty of heads in a red swimsuit.
"Off week world tour," they wrote for their joint Instagram caption. "Next stop Michigan."
Who is Emily Tanner?
Tanner, a Michigan State University graduate, has become a very popular Instagram influencer over the years. She has worked with plenty of notable brands, including Schutz, Revolve and Celsius.
In 2021, Tanner launched her own full-service influencer marketing agency called "Over Social Agency."
As for Tanner's love life, she hard-launched her romance with Clark at the Masters Par 3 Contest this past April.
Apparently, Tanner has been Clark's good luck charm this season.
