WWE Worlds Collide 2026 takes over the Chicago area Saturday night with CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio and stars from WWE, NXT and AAA converging on Allstate Arena.
The September 26 show has developed into one of WWE’s more unusual events of 2026. WWE initially announced Worlds Collide as a live event featuring WWE and Lucha Libre AAA talent, but questions about whether fans outside the building will actually be able to watch it live have persisted all week.
WWE’s schedule lists the event for Saturday night without naming a television network or streaming platform, while the event page still includes a “How to Watch” link that, as of Friday morning, does not provide any viewing information.
Whatever happens with the broadcast, the fans inside Allstate Arena are getting a loaded seven-match card featuring CM Punk wrestling in front of his hometown crowd, several cross-promotional matches and an appearance from Oba Femi.

What to Expect at WWE Worlds Collide
The biggest attraction is unquestionably Punk wrestling in front of his hometown crowd again, but the card is much more than a Punk showcase.
Worlds Collide is built around something WWE has increasingly embraced since its relationship with AAA expanded: mixing wrestlers who normally occupy very different corners of the company’s wrestling universe. Raw and SmackDown stars are sharing a card with NXT prospects and established lucha libre talent.
That creates some genuinely unusual combinations.
I grew up in the Chicago area, and Allstate Arena is my favorite wrestling building in the world. I’ve watched wrestling there for years. There is something different about wrestling in that building, especially when Punk is involved.
There will also be plenty of wrestling energy in the air, with AEW All Out taking place roughly 20 miles away at NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates on the same night.
Will WWE Worlds Collide 2026 Air Live?
Bryan Alvarez reported that Worlds Collide will be filmed with commentary, although it remains unclear whether it will air live or on delay. JBL later said on Something to Wrestle that WWE was not bringing its announcers to Chicago and that he had previously been told commentary could be recorded afterward.
Questions remain about why WWE Worlds Collide does not have a confirmed live broadcast.
