WWE NXT and AAA star Karmen Petrovic was briefly listed as deceased on Google and Wikipedia, leaving fans confused before the incorrect information was removed. Petrovic later addressed the bizarre situation on social media, making it clear that she was fine and brushing off the strange episode with a short message.
Petrovic, whose real name is Monika Klisara, was reportedly shown on Google’s Knowledge Panel as having died on September 29, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. Similar information also appeared on her Wikipedia page, leading fans to circulate screenshots and question whether the information was legitimate.
There was no credible report confirming Petrovic’s death, and the incorrect listings were quickly removed. Google’s Knowledge Panels are automatically generated using information from multiple sources across the web, and Google acknowledges that incorrect information can sometimes appear in its systems.
The reason for Karmen Petrovic’s false death listing has not been established. It could have resulted from an editing mistake, vandalism, or inaccurate information being picked up by one of the sources used by search engines, but there is no confirmed explanation for what happened.
Petrovic eventually responded to the confusion herself. Rather than treating the incident as something that required a lengthy explanation, she summed up the strange experience in a short post:
“the internet is a weird place.. sending everyone love & healing 🖤.”
The response came during an especially difficult period for the wrestling community. Former WWE star PAC, real name Benjamin Satterley, died at 40 on September 27, while several other wrestling figures have also been mourned in recent days.
Karmen Petrovic Has Continued to Build Her WWE and AAA Career
Petrovic joined WWE in 2022 as part of the Performance Center’s Fall Rookie class before appearing on WWE programming the following year. She reached the semifinals of the 2023 NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament and has since worked across NXT and Evolve.
Her career has also expanded beyond WWE. The 30-year-old star is a member of the reformed Los Perros del Mal faction in AAA alongside Daga, Angel, Berto and Bronco Nima, with the group returning in June 2026.
Petrovic’s response quickly drew supportive messages from fans who had seen the false reports. One user pointed to the timing of the incident, writing:
“weirdos spreading rumors during a week in which the entire wrestling world is mourning.”
Another fan was simply relieved to see Petrovic address the situation:
“glad you’re well karmen! sending so much love to you gorgeous! please stay safe 🤍🤍.”
A third fan directed their frustration toward whoever had changed the information while offering Petrovic encouragement:
“Whoever edited that, that wasn’t right, but hey, you are better than them haters, much love and support to ya! Keep up the great work you always do.”
With the false listings removed and Petrovic continuing her work in both WWE and AAA, the bizarre online death report has been put to rest. Her brief response also gave concerned fans the confirmation they needed without allowing the incident to overshadow her wrestling career.
