WWE NXT is live tonight, Sept. 29, with two championships on the line and the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic continuing.
Grayson Waller will defend the NXT Championship against Mason Rook in the biggest match announced for Tuesday night’s show. Rook earned his opportunity at Waller’s championship and now gets his first one-on-one shot at the title.
The NXT Women’s North American Championship will also be defended when Zaria faces Thea Hail. Hail has gotten the better of Zaria recently, including forcing the champion to tap out before defeating her again in tag team action.
Two more first-round matches in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic are also scheduled, with talent from across NXT, Evolve and AAA represented in the tournament.

What to Expect on WWE NXT Tonight
The NXT Championship match should be the focus of tonight’s show. Waller has a legitimate challenger standing in front of him in Rook, who is the perfect foil for Waller’s heel character.
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and NXT Women’s North American Championship match also give this week’s NXT higher stakes.
Borne’s return is another storyline to watch after his attacks on Tavion Heights.
