WWE made an unexpected production error during Tatum Paxley’s entrance at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6.
As Paxley made her way toward the ring, Kelly Kelly’s classic entrance graphics briefly appeared on the arena screen. The former WWE Divas Champion’s pink-themed presentation was clearly not intended for the moment, and the production team quickly corrected the mistake.
The brief slip-up did not affect the show itself, but fans watching the event immediately noticed the unexpected appearance. Kelly Kelly’s familiar graphics appearing during another wrestler’s entrance was enough to spark discussion among viewers, particularly given her history with WWE.
Paxley was part of the six-woman tag team match later in the show. She teamed with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss against Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab. Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab ultimately picked up the victory, with “The Storm” pinning The Queen.
Is Kelly Kelly Returning to WWE After Unexpected Titantron Appearance at Sunday Night’s Main Event?
No, Kelly Kelly is not returning to WWE based on the unexpected Titantron appearance.
The former Divas Champion’s graphics showing up during Paxley’s entrance were simply the result of a production botch. There was no indication during the broadcast that WWE was using the moment to set up Kelly Kelly’s return.
Kelly has also not competed in a WWE match since the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble. She is not currently part of WWE’s active wrestling roster, making the brief appearance on the arena screen even more likely to have been an accidental graphics mix-up.
For now, there is no reason to view the incident as a return tease. It was simply an easily noticeable mistake during a live WWE broadcast.
