WWE superstar Nikki Bella revealed this month that she's nearing the end of her wrestling career.
Bella, who first joined the WWE in 2007, has already earned a spot in the Hall of Fame. She's just adding more accomplishments to her stacked résumé at this point in her career.
During a recent episode of her podcast, Bella revealed that she plans on retiring from the WWE at the end of 2027.
"I'm coming close to the end. I am, and I'm very great with that. A year-and-a-half, whatever it is, the end of 2027. I really just want to finish this out exactly how I want it. If I have to break rules, I'm going to break rules. I want to end it how I see it so I don't look back and go, 'What if?' Creatively, if I feel a certain way, I want to do it. I don't want to sit there and go, 'Oh, but follow the rules and be a good girl.' I want to challenge myself, I want to fight for myself, I want to stick up for what I believe in, and I also want to be super impressive and produce great stuff as far as matches, but also creative," Bella said, via ClutchPoints.
"I want to continue to be a part of great changes for women's wrestling and constantly making women's wrestling feel important and special, and while I'm doing great things, bringing other people up with me to do great things. I don't just speak the talk of empowering women; I truly love to empower women. It's such a great group right now and whatever I can give, while also being a bad [expletive], I'm all game."

While her eventual retirement will be a huge storyline in the future, Bella caused quite the stir by posting a swimsuit selfie online.
"Nikki Bella forever," one fan said.
"Holy lord," a second fan commented.
"I'm not ready for her to retire," another fan wrote.
One of the greats of her generation.
Bella, a two-time WWE Divas Champion, once held the belt for 301 days. Her title reign is one of the greatest the women's division has ever seen.
"A self-admitted "tomboy" with a feminine side, Nikki originally planned to play professional soccer until a leg injury ended her career," her WWE bio states. "From there, she followed her twin sister Brie’s lead into WWE. Unsuccessful in seizing spots in the 2006 WWE Raw Diva Search, The Bellas caught the eyes of execs and soon landed in FCW. Training for the competition they’d soon crush (while male WWE fans formed crushes on them), Nikki and her sibling made their way onto the main roster in 2008 and turned heads whenever they set foot inside the ring."
Wrestling fans have seen Bella feud with countless stars, including Charlotte Flair, Maryse, AJ Lee and Carmella. We'd have to imagine she's got at least one more classic feud left before she retires.
