The road to WrestleMania 43 will officially begin in Arizona.
WWE and TKO announced Tuesday, August 4, that Royal Rumble 2027 will take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, marking the first major event confirmed as part of a new multi-year partnership between TKO, the Arizona Sports & Events Alliance and Legends Global.
While WWE did not announce an exact date, the company confirmed the premium live event will return to its traditional February timeframe.
The announcement comes after this year's Royal Rumble made history by becoming the first traditional event in the annual series to take place outside North America, with the 2026 edition held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Next year's event brings one of WWE's biggest annual spectacles back to the United States.

Royal Rumble won't be the only marquee event heading to the Phoenix area.
As part of the partnership, Arizona will also host Noche UFC at Desert Diamond Arena in September 2026 and the PBR World Finals: Championship at State Farm Stadium in May 2027.

The agreement reflects TKO's strategy of bringing multiple properties together to create destination sports weekends in partnership with host cities.
For WWE, State Farm Stadium is a familiar venue. The stadium previously hosted WrestleMania 26 in 2010 and has since become one of the premier locations for major sporting events, including multiple Super Bowls.
Additional details, including the official date, ticket information and travel packages for Royal Rumble 2027, are expected to be announced in the coming months.
