The 2026 FIFA World Cup has brought millions of fans to the United States for the global soccer tournament. But it's not just fans, players and coaches traveling from Europe, South America, Asia, etc. to the U.S. for the big games. International journalists are coming, as well.
DAZN reporter Eleonora Incardona, who has millions of followers across social media, is in the United States, covering the tournament. She's been in New York City and Boston so far. However, while Incardona has a big following, she's faced some backlash for her outfits, which some have deemed "unprofessional" and "inappropriate."
"If she wants to be taken seriously she might want to tone it down a bit. Maybe she isn't very talented and all she has is her looks, I really don't know. To say there is some kind of double standard for males journalists is just nonsense. I've never seen a male journalist reporting on a sporting event in revealing clothes, and I'm sure if one did there would be a lot of criticism," one fan noted of her outfits, which have gone viral online.

Fans debate World Cup reporter's outfits
There's nothing too crazy here, of course, but some believe that she's not dressing professionally enough, while others are defending her.
"Her clothing is inappropriate. She is working to report on the match; she is not there as a spectator. She should dress accordingly," one wrote.
"There is absolutely nothing wrong with her attire. Such a beautiful lady and a magnificent smile," another added.
"Soccer is so dull they have to do something to liven things up," one fan added.
"It's a bit unprofessional, but I don't mind," one shared.
The 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup, meanwhile, will continue on Sunday.
