The Chicago Sky trailed by as many as 14 points in their showdown against the Connecticut Sun on Thursday. Fortunately, they were able to turn things around with a strong fourth quarter to earn a 94-88 victory.
Kamilla Cardoso led the way for Chicago with 26 points and six rebounds. She scored 18 in the fourth quarter alone, going 5-of-6 from the field and 8-of-9 from the free-throw line.
Sydney Taylor added 14 points and six assists, while Natasha Cloud chipped in 11 points, five assists and two steals. DiJonai Carrington, who made her season debut for Chicago after recovering from a foot injury, contributed nine points and three rebounds off the bench.

While it was a remarkable win for Chicago, it wasn't without issues. In particular, Cloud received a technical foul midway through the third quarter.
It was not clear why the game officials assessed Cloud with a tech, but she was seen complaining to the referees after a foul by Sun forward Diamond Miller.
The tech was Cloud's fifth of the season, which means she is subject to a fine. The WNBA rules state that a player's fourth through seventh techs are each punishable by a $1,000 fine.
Furthermore, the WNBA is expected to send a warning letter to Cloud since she is nearing the technical foul limit. Once a player reaches eight techs, they are fined $1,500 and suspended for one game.
Every even-numbered technical foul after that — meaning the 10th, 12th, 14th and so on — also carries a one-game suspension and a fine.
