Jackie Young went off for the Las Vegas Aces in their blowout win against the Atlanta Dream on Monday. The All-Star guard recorded a triple-double of 28 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to power Las Vegas to a 109-87 victory.
Young allowed the Aces to pull away after a tight first period that saw them trail the Dream 24-22. She tallied 14 of the team's 33 points in the second quarter, giving Las Vegas a 17-point lead at halftime.
The Aces never looked back after that. A'ja Wilson added 23 points, six rebounds, four assists and three blocks, while NaLyssa Smith chipped in 18 points and four rebounds.

Despite her incredible performance, though, it wasn't all positive for Young. She received her first flagrant foul of the season after an incident with Dream guard Jaylyn Sherrod.
Before the first quarter ended, Sherrod came up with a steal for one final play. As she attempted a 3-pointer with three seconds left, however, Young tried to block her shot.
Unfortunately, Young didn't give Sherrod enough landing space, prompting the referees to assess her with a Flagrant 1 foul, per Meghan L. Hall of USA Today. It's not a surprising call since game officials have often called a flagrant foul on dangerous closeouts.
Now, according to the WNBA's rules, each flagrant point carries a $500 fine. A Flagrant 1 foul accounts for one flagrant point, while a Flagrant 2 accounts for two flagrant points.
The flagrant-point limit is four. Once a player reaches that threshold, they are automatically suspended for one game. A player who gets a Flagrant 2 foul after already accumulating three flagrant points, meanwhile, receives a two-game suspension.
Young has generally been careful about avoiding such calls. It's worth noting that she has yet to receive a technical foul this season. Still, it's definitely in her best interest to avoid getting more flagrant fouls considering how important she is to the Aces.
