Chicago Sky guard DiJonai Carrington continues to get in trouble with the referees.
Over the weekend, Carrington went viral after she hit Sophie Cunningham in the head late in the first quarter of the Sky's game against the Indiana Fever. After reviewing the play, officials upgraded the call to a Flagrant 2 foul, thereby ejecting her from the game.
The Flagrant 2 foul also carries a $1,000 fine. The WNBA rules state that each flagrant point is punishable by a $500 fine. A Flagrant 2 foul accounts for two flagrant points.
Now, just four days later, Carrington was called for another violation. This time, she was hit with a technical foul during Wednesday's game against the Golden State Valkyries.

Late in the third quarter, Carrington complained to the referee over what she believed was a no-call. Carrington attacked the basket and missed, with Valkyries forward Laeticia Amihere trying to stop her.
It's Carrington's second technical foul of the season, which means she will have to pay a $500 fine. Per league rules, the first three technical fouls for a player each carry a $500 fine. The fourth through seventh techs, meanwhile, are each punishable by a $1,000 fine.
Once a player reaches eight techs, they receive a $1,500 fine and a one-game suspension.
While Carrington is still far from the technical foul limit, her recent Flagrant 2 foul puts her just two flagrant points away from a one-game suspension. Sure enough, she will need to be more careful with her actions if she wants to avoid getting suspended.
The Sky have 10 games left in the season. They will return to action against the Seattle Storm on Sunday.
