Cameron Brink and the Los Angeles Sparks lost to the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday night, 79-69. It's L.A.'s second straight loss, dropping the team to 4-5 on the season.
Making matters worse, Brink is set to receive punishment from the WNBA after what transpired during their showdown with the Aces.
Brink, who finished with nine points, eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks off the bench, had a highly physical and intense matchup with Aces starting forward NaLyssa Smith throughout the game.
In the second quarter of the game, Brink even stared down Smith after blocking her.
Eventually, the tension escalated, leading to the two players getting entangled in the fourth quarter and engaging in an argument. The referee proceeded to issue a double technical foul to Brink and Smith.

It is Brink's second technical foul of the season. That being said, the WNBA is due to fine her $500 for it.
As the WNBA rules state, players receive a $500 fine for each of their first three technical fouls. Meanwhile, the fourth to seventh technical fouls carry a $1,000 fine each, while anything beyond results in a $1,500 and an automatic one-game suspension.
Considering that both players were arguing and got physical, it's unlikely that the technical fouls will be rescinded.
Despite the heated exchange and the penalty that awaits her, Brink has no regrets about what she did. After all, she did send a message that she's "not afraid" of anyone.
"I mean, what do you want me to say?" Brink said when asked about her physical battle with Smith and the emotions during the game that led to the double tech. "It's a physical game. I'm not afraid of anybody. That's all I’m gonna say. I'm not afraid of anybody."
