Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will look to bounce back Saturday when they visit the New York Liberty after seeing their five-game winning streak end with a 91-85 loss to the Dallas Wings on Thursday. Kelsey Mitchell tied her season-high with 37 points in the defeat, but Indiana could not overcome a strong Dallas defense.
The Fever enter Saturday at 24-13 and fourth in the WNBA standings, while New York sits sixth and is also hoping to bounce back from Tuesday’s loss to the Chicago Sky. The Liberty fell 73-70 to the Chicago Sky in their previous game and are 22-15, sitting sixth in the standings. Indiana has won two of the first three meetings this season, including both matchups in Indianapolis, after New York won the series opener 83-75 in Brooklyn.

Ahead of the matchup, the WNBA announced Friday that the Fever have already secured their place in the postseason. Indiana officially clinched a playoff berth after the Portland Fire lost 82-79 to the Toronto Tempo.
The Fever are the fourth team to qualify for the 2026 WNBA playoffs, joining the Minnesota Lynx, Golden State Valkyries and Las Vegas Aces. extending their streak of consecutive postseason appearances to three.
With its playoff spot already booked, Indiana will now look to climb as high as possible in the standings and secure home-court advantage. With seven games remaining, the Fever currently sit 1.5 games ahead of the Atlanta Dream and lead New York with two games.
As of this writing, the Fever’s injury report lists Clark as probable with a back injury, Aliyah Boston as questionable with a right lower-leg injury while Damiris Dantas remains out for the season after undergoing knee surgery.
