Stephanie White’s tenure with the Indiana Fever has produced another strong season. Through 30 games, the team owns a 19-11 record and sits fifth in the WNBA after putting together one of the league’s best stretches in July. The Fever went 8-2 during the month, closing it with a five-game winning streak before falling to the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday.
The turnaround has been fueled by one of the WNBA’s most lethal offenses. Both Kelsey Mitchell (24.0) and Caitlin Clark (21.5) rank top three in the league in scoring, while Aliyah Boston (44.4%), Sophie Cunningham (45.2%) and Mitchell (43.8%) all rank among the top five in three-point percentage, giving Indiana three of the league’s most efficient perimeter shooters.

The WNBA recognized White’s work on Wednesday, naming her Coach of the Month for games played in July after guiding the Fever to an 8-2 record.
It is another coaching honor for White, who won WNBA Coach of the Year in 2023 with the Connecticut Sun and has now collected three Coach of the Month awards during her coaching career.
The award also adds to White’s long history with the franchise. The 2026 season marks her second consecutive year with the Fever organization. She previously won a title with the franchise as an assistant coach, led Indiana to the 2015 WNBA Finals as head coach and returned to coach the team again beginning in 2025.
White and the Fever will look to add to the excitement during Thursday’s home game against the Las Vegas Aces.
