Caitlin Clark entered the 2026 season carrying enormous expectations after injuries limited her the previous year. Through the first month of the campaign, the two-time All-Star has done nothing to slow the momentum.
Clark is averaging 20.3 points, 7.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds in 12 games. Thanks to her, the Indiana Fever hold an 8-5 record and ride a three-game winning streak entering Tuesday night’s game against the Toronto Tempo.
The Fever’s recent surge has coincided with some of the best basketball of Clark’s young professional career. She delivered a game-winning three-pointer against the Washington Mystics on June 8, followed that performance with a historic 32-point, 10-assist outing against the Chicago Sky, and then helped Indiana complete a perfect 3-0 week with a road victory over the Connecticut Sun.

On Monday, the WNBA recognized those performances by naming Clark the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
The honor came after a remarkable stretch that saw Clark lead Indiana while continuing to rewrite both franchise and league record books. During the week, she tied the Fever franchise record for most 30-point double-doubles with three, and became the first player in WNBA history to record three career games with at least 30 points and 10 assists.
Clark also climbed to sixth place on Indiana’s all-time three-pointers made list with 183 and recorded her 10th career game featuring at least 25 points, five three-pointers and five assists, the second-most such performances in WNBA history.
The award is the latest addition to an already impressive résumé for the 24-year-old guard, who has quickly become the centerpiece of Indiana’s resurgence. After a brief shooting slump earlier in the season, Clark has looked increasingly comfortable over the past week and appears to be hitting her stride as the Fever climb the standings.
Indiana returns to action Tuesday night when it hosts the Tempo at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Fever will be looking for a fourth consecutive victory, and Clark will enter the matchup fresh off another individual accolade that further strengthens her case as one of the league’s premier stars.
