The Indiana Fever are thriving with the Big 3 of Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston leading the way, fueling Tamika Catchings' belief that the team has what it takes to contend for a championship.
Clark is averaging 21.7 points and 8.2 assists per game this season, putting her on track to become the first player in WNBA history to average 20 points and eight assists per game in a season. The 24-year-old has propelled herself into MVP discussions, along with Mitchell.
Mitchell is leading the Fever in scoring with 24.3 points per game. She's currently on a 17-game streak of scoring at least 20 points, the most in a season in league history.
Boston, for her part, is putting up 17.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks per game. The Fever center has greatly improved her offensive game, particularly her 3-point shooting. She leads the WNBA in 3-point percentage at 45.7%.
The three-headed monster has led the Fever to a 21-12 record. They most recently defeated the New York Liberty, 106-92.

Catchings, widely considered the greatest player in Fever history, loves what she has seen from the team so far. She also pointed out how WNBA championship teams in the past had at least a Big 3.

It remains to be seen if the 2026 Fever will be able to live up to Catchings' expectations. There is no denying that they are trending in the right direction as the postseason nears, though.
