Angel Reese has been phenomenal in her first season with the Atlanta Dream. In 22 games so far with the team, she has averaged 15.0 points on 41.8% shooting, along with 11.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.6 steals.
During the Dream's 89-78 victory over the Seattle Storm on Thursday, Reese even made history after she tallied 18 points and 11 rebounds.
It was Reese's 64th double-double of her career, allowing her to surpassWNBA icon Tina Charles (63) for the most double-doubles in a player's first three seasons.
Reese has recorded 15 double-doubles this season alone, which is also a league-high.

Amid Reese's dominant campaign with Atlanta, WNBA legend Lisa Leslie couldn't help but commend the 24-year-old. In her latest appearance on CBS Sports' WNBA broadcast, Leslie took notice of Reese's aggressiveness and how she's not afraid to get physical.
"When you look at Angel Reese and what she does, this is one of those things that you really can't teach because it's about the heart and the effort. Not easy to do," Leslie said of Reese's play.
Leslie even compared Reese to a "Mack truck" because of the way she imposes herself whenever she's on the court.
"What I like about Angel Reese's game, the physicality is where she starts," Leslie explained. "Whether she's driving to the basket, she's like a Mack truck coming down the middle. She actually finishes [with her] left or right, even improving in her game. So this double-double, only two players in the WNBA, Jess Shepherd and Angel Reese, [are] averaging a double-double."
The Dream are currently 13-10 on the season, good for seventh in the WNBA standings. It remains to be seen how far they can go this season, but there's no denying that Reese will play a big role in their bid to contend for a title.
