Candace Parker and Michael Grady were on the call for Amazon Prime as Caitlin Clark and the No. 6 seed Indiana Fever hosted A’ja Wilson and the No. 3 seed Las Vegas Aces in Game 2 of the first round of the 2026 WNBA Playoffs. The Fever found themselves in an 0-1 hole after dropping Game 1 102-85 on Sunday.
With about 5:30 remaining in the first quarter and the Fever up 8-6, Clark attempted to draw a foul on a 3-point shot, leaning into Aces forward Stephanie Talbot before heaving up a prayer. However, no foul was called and Las Vegas grabbed the air ball, beginning to run the other way.
But Clark did not appreciate the no call, looking around at the officials for a whistle, which she did not get, instead of hustling back on defense after losing the ball.

While Clark was busy at midcourt with the officials, Aces guard Jackie Young had a nearly free lane to the basket before hitting a layup over Indiana guard Kelsey Mitchell, which tied the game.
And Parker, who was on the call, certainly wasn’t happy with Clark’s decision to argue with the officials over getting back, calling out the former Iowa star live.
“Right here, you gotta get back on defense, Caitlin,” Parker said. “This is the playoffs.”
Parker would know a thing or two about what it takes to win in the playoffs, winning three WNBA championships during her career with the Los Angeles Sparks, Chicago Sky and Las Vegas Aces. Not to forget her two WNBA MVP awards.
Clark and the Fever could face the Aces in a potential winner-goes-home Game 3 on Thursday back in Vegas.
