Former WNBA player turned analyst Sydney Colson had to be “physically restrained” after Game 2 in Indiana.
The former Fever guard turned analyst reportedly got into it with a fan after Game 2. The Fever took down the Aces, forcing a Game 3. Colson, an Amazon Prime commentator, had to be restrained by a staff member, after getting into it with a fan.
“Instead of maintaining professional distance as a credentialed media member, Colson and fellow Amazon analyst Theresa Plaisance (also a podcast co-host with Wilson) left their courtside seats and inserted themselves into the altercation,” Fox News wrote.
“As arena personnel escorted Colson and Plaisance away from the baseline, a spectator in a red Fever shirt directed a comment toward them. Plaisance pointed back and called him a ‘little (expletive) boy.’ Colson then continued pushing aggressively toward the fan as an Amazon staffer struggled to hold her back. Video footage captured her shouting, “Who do you think you are? (Expletive), who the (expletive) do you think you are?”
Video of the incident has gone viral on X.

Colson, 37, ended her WNBA career in Indianapolis. She played for the Fever in 2025. She previously played for the Aces in 2019 and again from 2022-24.
It’s unclear what led to her incident with a fan, though perhaps it was related to the A’ja Wilson, fan incident.
Wilson is continuing to stand up for her behavior, despite the incident.
“I don’t know if you guys know me, but I don’t get into the (expletive),” Wilson told reporters. “I try to play my game, keep it pushing. But if I’m just walking, because I just got the foul, I’m chilling, and if I see a man come at me, taking steps toward me and pointing at me, I don’t give a damn what you said. I don’t give a damn how you said it. The tone, that is unacceptable.”
Game 3 should be heated on Thursday night.
It’s set to tip off at 9 p.m. E.T.
