The 2026 MLS All-Star Game is tonight at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. The MLS All-Star team this year features many top players from the MLS.
The 2026 All-Star team will feature players like the Vancouver Whitecaps' Thomas Müller and LAFC's Son Heung-Min.
One of the big stars in the MLS who will not feature in the 2026 MLS All-Star team is Inter Miami's Luis Suarez. Suarez has started well this 2026 MLS season, scoring nine goals after 13 matches played.
Over the weekend, Suarez scored the winning goal in Inter Miami's 1-0 win over CF Montreal away from home.

Suarez was not selected to play for the 2026 MLS All-Star Team as the Inter Miami players selected were Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul. Neither of the two players will play tonight after going far with Argentina in the 2026 World Cup.
The MLS announced the replacement for the players who will not play tonight, and the league decided to select one player from Inter Miami: Yannick Bright.
Is Luis Suarez Injured?
Luis Suarez is not injured and would have been available for selection to the 2026 MLS All-Star team.
Suarez was selected to play in the 2024 MLS All-Star game, but he was not avaialble to play in the game as he did not recover from an injury he sustained during the 2024 Copa America while playing for Uruguay.
Suarez is currently training with the Inter Miami team to prepare for the weekend's home game against Columbus Crew on August 1, 2026.
