Manchester United will play its first preseason match of the summer against Wrexham at the Olympic Stadium in Finland. Manchester United will be playing several friendly preseason matches to prepare for the new season, which starts in August.
Manchester United do not have a full squad for the friendly match against Wrexham today, but their squad includes first-team players like Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and more.
Fans were hopeful to see their new players in action, like Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, who both signed with the club a few days ago.
Andrey Santos will make his Manchester United debut today as the Brazilian midfielder is in the starting XI, but Tielemans is not included in the squad.
Tielemans was with Belgium last week in the quarterfinal of the 2026 World Cup against Spain, where he was unavailable due to an injury in the warm-up.

Is Youri Tielemans Injured?
Youri Tielemans remains injured from the thigh injury he suffered during the warm-up before Belgium vs. Spain in the quarterfinals.
Tielemans was not included in the Manchester United squad for the friendly match against Wrexham, excluding him from playing the game.
Tielemans is already confirmed as a new Manchester United player and is expected to play in the preseason in the next few weeks as soon as he fully recovers from his injury.
Manchester United's first game of the new Premier League season will be against Hull City at MKM Stadium on August 22, 2026.
