Real Madrid has an away game in La Liga against Espanyol at RCDE Stadium. The game is a must-win for Real Madrid as a draw or a loss will crown FC Barcelona as La Liga champions.
La Liga is the only competition left for Real Madrid to compete for a trophy this season, but they are currently 14 points behind Barcelona in the league table and will need to win their remaining games, along with Barcelona dropping points.
Real Madrid will need to win against Espanyol without their top goalscorer, Kylian Mbappe, who is not part of the sqaud for tonight's match.
Mbappe played last week against Real Betis away from home, where the game finished on a 1-1 draw.

Mbappe did not finish the match and was taken off in the 81st minute due to an injury. Mbappe asked to be taken off while on the pitch.

Kylian Mbappe Injury Update
Kylian Mbappe was diagnosed with a semitendinosus muscle injury in his left leg and could be out for the rest of the season.
Real Madrid did not confirm when Mbappe will be back, and their statement read, "Following tests carried out today on our player Kylian Mbappé by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a semitendinosus muscle injury in his left leg. His recovery will be monitored."
Mbappe is not with the team away at Espanyol. Mbappe could be fit in time for the 2026 World Cup, which is a month away.
