The USMNT was 2-1 down to Belgium at halftime in the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup. Team USA was desperate to score the equalizer, but a horrible mistake from Matt Freese led to Belgium's third goal.
The USMNT is having a difficult game against the Belgians, and one of the players who struggled all game was Christian Pulisic.
Pulisic struggled in the game in terms of duels, losing six throughout his time on the pitch. Before taking a shot, Pulsiic received a big challenge from Belgium's captain, Youri Tielemans.

After the challenge, Pulisic was seen limping on the pitch and tried to stay on the pitch. After Belgium's third goal, Pulisic was taken off and replaced by Sebastian Berhalter.
Is Christian Pulisic Injured?
Christian Pulisic appears to have suffered an injury after no longer being able to continue playing on the pitch. Cameras caught Pulisic on the pitch, upset, and the medical staff was treating him.
Pulisic was in tears while being treated on the bench. There are yet no reports as to what Pulisic's injury is.
After the game, Pulisic confirmed that he twisted and sprained his ankle. It is not confirmed how long we will be out.
Pulisic said, "I just twisted my ankle, sprained my ankle. It's just frustrating to end like that, of course. But now I get time to rest, so it will be okay."
