The 2026 World Cup Round of 16 kicks off this weekend, and one of the biggest matches fans are looking forward to watching is Brazil vs. Norway on Sunday, July 5.
The match will be played at New York/New Jersey Stadium, and the winner will play the winner of Mexico vs. England in the Round of 16.
Brazil vs. Norway was set to be played at 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT in the United States. Local time kickoff is at 4 p.m. in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

However, Goal Brazil's Raisa Simplicio reported on Friday that the Brazil vs. Norway start time is set to change.
The game may now kick off an hour later -- at 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT in the United States.
Why FIFA May Change Brazil vs. Norway Kick-off Time?
According to Simplicio, the game may kick off an hour later due to the heat on the East Coast. There is currently a heat wave in the greater New York / New Jersey area.
FIFA is reportedly finalizing this change on Friday and should make it official imminently.
AccuWeather's Sunday forecast calls for a high temperature in the upper 80s, very humid conditions, and 33% chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. The most concerning element, though, is the potential "RealFeel" temperature of 101 degrees.
This kickoff time change follows the potential kickoff time change for the Mexico vs. England Round of 16 match, which was originally set to be played after the Brazil vs. Norway game, but it might now be played before.
Mexico vs. England was set to be played at 6 p.m. local time in Mexico City, Mexico, but is reportedly moving up to 12 p.m. local time.
While FIFA has yet to confirm either change, GiveMeSport's Ben Jacobs reports that FIFA is actively considering moving multiple World Cup knockout games to avoid potential weather delays.
As for the game itself, Brazil enters on a four-game winning streak, most recently knocking out Japan, 2-1, in the Round of 32. Erling Haaland and Norway have lost only one of their four matches so far -- to tournament favorite France -- and most recently eliminated Ivory Coast in the first knockout round.
