The Cleveland Browns are currently 3-1 and head into Week 4 tied atop the AFC North. This isn't where most fans expected, but this team is clearly a solid group.
However, when it comes to the future of the Browns, there's still plenty of focus on the quarterback position and rebuilding this year. So, even with a winning record, seeing the Browns sell would not be a surprise whatsoever.
Jerry Jeudy's name consistently pops up as a trade target, but ESPN's Jeremy Fowler shared why a trade of the Browns WR might not actually happen this season.
Why Browns might not trade Jerry Jeudy despite plenty of rumors
"But some key context here: The Browns feel they have a good team, the offense needs at least three capable receivers, and Jeudy had multiple key catches Thursday against Pittsburgh," Fowler writes. "The Browns are big on value, so all attractive offers will be considered, but I'm not totally sold that they actually move him."
Fowler doesn't believe the Browns are fully bought into the idea of trading away Jeudy this season. On paper, however, it would make a ton of sense.
He's a veteran who might not be a part of the team for much longer. Meanwhile, rookies KC Concepcion and especially Denzel Boston have really impressed this season.

However, despite the presence of Boston and Concepcion, Fowler doesn't believe Jeudy will be moved. Todd Monken might want to keep three good receivers, and Jeudy fits the bill of a quality third option.
Another big reason why Jeudy might not move this season is thanks to the Browns not being willing to trade him for pennies on the dollar. If a team lands Jeudy, it's going to be at a decent cost, as the Browns won't just ship him out for anything they can get.
Still, there's a good chance Jeudy is traded this season. But if the Browns keep him, it will likely be due to their asking price, which would force a team to spend big on the Browns' WR.
