Norway beat Brazil 2-1 to qualify for the Round of 16 and knocked out the South Americans from the 2026 World Cup.
Erling Haaland broke the deadlock in the 79th minute to give Norway the lead before adding a second in the 90th minute to shatter Brazilian hopes. Neymar pulled one back from the penalty spot deep into stoppage time, but it was only a consolation as the Selecao crashed out of the World Cup.
The South American powerhouse opened its campaign with a draw against Morocco before bouncing back with convincing victories over Scotland and Haiti.

Mexico advanced to the Round of 32 after topping Group A with three wins. El Tri defeated South Africa 2-0, South Korea 1-0, and Czechia 3-0 before beating Ecuador 2-0 in the Round of 32.
If Norway advances to face Mexico, the Vikings attack will need to be at its clinical best against a team that has yet to concede a goal in the tournament.
On the other hand, England also finished at the top of its group, although its performances were far less convincing.
