WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event will bring a familiar face from Atlanta’s music scene to State Farm Arena. Quavo will open the show with a performance of an unreleased song from his upcoming solo album, QROMELIFE.
The rapper, who was born and raised in the Atlanta area, has been a longtime WWE fan and has crossed paths with the company several times. His latest appearance will give fans a first listen to a track from his next solo project.
Why Is Quavo Performing at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event?
Quavo has a history with WWE that goes beyond simply attending shows.
His first notable WWE connection came at WWE Day 1 in 2022, when Migos’ song “Straightenin” served as the official theme for the premium live event. He later attended WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta in 2024, watching the action from ringside alongside fellow rapper Lil Yachty.
His most memorable appearance came on Monday Night RAW in January 2025. Quavo joined Jey Uso during the show and took part in Uso’s popular “Yeet” celebration.
Now, he will return to WWE in his hometown for a performance tied to his upcoming album. QROMELIFE is Quavo’s next solo project, although WWE has not provided a specific release date for the album.
Sunday Night’s Main Event will take place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on September 6. The show is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET and will stream live on Peacock in the United States. International viewers will be able to watch the event on YouTube.
Who Else Is Involved in the Show?
Quavo is not the only hip-hop star involved in Sunday Night’s Main Event.
Lil Yachty is also set for an unusual role on the card. He will face United States Champion Baron Corbin in a five-minute challenge, with a specific goal: survive the entire five minutes without being pinned or forced to submit.
If Yachty manages to last the full five minutes, Trick Williams will receive another opportunity to challenge Corbin for the United States Championship later in the night.
Yachty’s involvement follows his recent issues with “The Lone Wolf.” The rapper has already appeared around WWE programming alongside his close friend Trick Williams, making Sunday’s match another chapter in their ongoing connection with the promotion.
The event will also feature several major matches, including Cody Rhodes taking on Randy Orton, Bron Breakker facing Oba Femi and a six-woman tag team match involving Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Tatum Paxley, Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab.
For Quavo, however, the night will begin on a different stage. He will open WWE’s return to Atlanta with music before the wrestling action gets underway.
