The 2026 FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Argentina is not only a historic match on the pitch, but it's also a historic occasion in the history of the World Cup. FIFA is bringing a Super Bowl-style halftime show to the biggest match in soccer history for the first time.
The show will feature some of the world's largest music acts and will raise funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin curating the event, and it will be produced in partnership with Global Citizen.
Who Is Performing at the World Cup Final Halftime Show?
The star-studded lineup includes:

- Post Malone
- Madonna
- Justin Bieber
- BTS
- Gustavo Dudamel
- PS 22 Chorus ft. Coldplay
They will perform at the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show at New York New Jersey Stadium. The event will be artistically directed by Chris Martin and will also feature the renowned Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus.

The halftime show will benefit the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which seeks to raise $100 million to increase access to education and soccer opportunities for children globally. FIFA has also announced that the show will be broadcast live around the world as part of the final's television broadcast.
How Long Will the Halftime Show Last?
FIFA has stressed that the show will not be a dramatic extension of the game, unlike the NFL's Super Bowl halftime show.
The halftime entertainment is expected to last approximately 17 minutes, only slightly longer than a traditional soccer halftime. FIFA designed the programme to allow the performance to take place without interfering with the players' training for the second half.
The presentation is another step in FIFA's quest to combine soccer with world entertainment, as in the opening ceremony before the tournament started in Mexico City.
