One of the most attractive matches in the 2026 World Cup knockout stages is Brazil vs. Japan in Houston Stadium.
Brazil won Group C with seven points after one draw and two wins over the last three games. Japan finished second in Group F with five points following two draws and one win.
In their final group-stage match, Brazil defeated Scotland 3-0, with two goals from Vinicius Junior and one from Matheus Cunha.
Japan's previous match was a 1-1 draw with Sweden at Dallas Stadium; Daizen Maeda scored the goal for Japan in that match.

For the match today, FOX will broadcast in the United States, and the commentators for the match are Ian Darke and Landon Donovan.
Ian Darke is a legendary play-by-play annoucner which has called World Cup games in the past. Landon Donovan is the USMNT legend who has played in several World Cups.
The commentator duo has worked in previous World Cup games this summer. Their latest match together was for matchday 3 between Panama and England at the New York-New Jersey Stadium.
