White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has developed a huge following online.
The 28-year-old White House press secretary has served as the 36th White House press secretary since 2025. Leavitt, a member of the Republican Party, served as the nominee in for New Hampshire's 1st congressional district in 2022. She's since taken over President Trump's communications.
Leavitt, a married mother of one, has close to three million followers on Instagram. However, one of her Instagram photos has sparked some controversy online.

Leavitt turned heads in a sizzling one-piece swimsuit while on vacation with her family. However, some question if it's "appropriate" for someone in her position.
"Do you believe Karoline Leavitt’s photo is suitable for someone serving as White House Press Secretary?" an account asked, in a photo that has been viewed more than 1.1 million times.
Fans are quickly debating.
"Why is a women in a swimsuit controversial?? Is it because she is attractive??" one fan wrote.
"Why not? Are press secretary’s not allowed to swim? It’s not even a bikini," one fan wrote.
"Yep! She looks fantastic and dressed for the occasion. What do we live in, Khomeni’s Iran?" one fan added.
"Yes, normal people doing normal things! The difference is, our men and women have such confidence!" one fan added.
"Why not, she is a very good looking woman. We have a lot other things to talk about. I want to say, I love her work, I hope she will stay a long time in this job. She is doing a very good job, I’m from Germany, but I want to thank her for the very good work she delivers every day," one fan added.
