Fantasy football managers face some difficult decisions as the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. With injuries affecting the Steelers’ receiving corps and several players stepping into larger roles, identifying the right starters and sits could make a significant difference in fantasy lineups. Some Steelers are building momentum, while others face uncertainty heading into Sunday’s matchup.
Jaylen Warren continues to make an impact in both the running and passing games, while rookie Germie Bernard could benefit from increased opportunities in the passing attack. However, Aaron Rodgers faces questions about his available receiving options, and Pat Freiermuth’s injury status adds another layer of uncertainty. Here’s which Steelers players fantasy managers should start and which ones they should consider sitting in Week 6.
Sit: Aaron Rodgers

This isn’t to say Rodgers won’t deliver a solid outing or even a good game. However, he probably isn’t the best quarterback option for fantasy managers this week. With so many questions surrounding the Steelers’ receiving corps, it’s difficult to predict how the passing game will perform.
That’s the NFL, though. One minute, you have a deep wide receiver room; the next, you’re throwing to practice squad players.
Start: Jaylen Warren

Until someone stops him, keep starting Warren. He is producing in both the passing game and the rushing attack, and last week marked another big performance.
Although Tampa Bay will test the Steelers’ offensive line, Warren continues to thrive against stacked boxes. Right now, it feels like almost nothing can slow him down.
Sit: Pat Freiermuth

Freiermuth appears to be dealing with an injury of his own. On Saturday, the Steelers added him to the injury report with a calf injury.
If he is available, he could still see a limited role. Additionally, this matchup presents a good opportunity for Darnell Washington to take on more snaps and help support the ground game. Given the uncertainty surrounding Freiermuth’s health and workload, fantasy managers should consider other options.
Start: Germie Bernard

Bernard could see plenty of targets this week. He appears to be on the verge of a breakout stretch and has an opportunity to make the most of his increased role.
Can he capitalize on the Steelers’ receiving woes and make the plays needed to deliver a strong fantasy performance? With opportunities available in the passing game, Bernard is worth a look in Week 6.
