The Chicago Bears head to Atlanta for a Week 6 matchup against the Falcons, and fantasy football managers will have some important decisions to make. With Caleb Williams returning to the lineup and Kyle Monangai sidelined, several Bears players could see their fantasy value shift. Whether you’re looking for a potential breakout performance or trying to avoid a disappointing week, identifying the right Chicago players to start or sit could make a difference in your matchup.

Luther Burden III and D’Andre Swift stand out as potential fantasy options this week, while Colston Loveland and Kalif Raymond carry more uncertainty. Atlanta’s secondary injuries could create opportunities for Chicago’s pass catchers, but not every Bears player is positioned for a productive afternoon. Here’s who fantasy managers should start and sit when the Bears take on the Falcons in Week 6.

Start: Luther Burden III

This is an ideal matchup for the Bears to get Burden involved in situations that allow him to generate yards after the catch. That’s where he thrives, and he’s already shown an ability to make plays with the ball in his hands early in his career.

With Atlanta’s secondary dealing with injuries, its depth will face a significant test. The Falcons could lean on softer zone coverage, creating opportunities for Burden to make easy catches underneath and turn them into bigger gains. He has the potential to deliver solid fantasy production if Chicago finds ways to get him the ball in space.

Sit: Colston Loveland

Loveland hasn’t put together a big season so far, and the Falcons haven’t suffered the same injury concerns at safety and linebacker that could weaken their secondary. This might not be the week to trust a Bears tight end in fantasy lineups, although Williams’ return could help Loveland’s outlook.

Loveland has recorded just 110 receiving yards on 13 receptions this season. Until he establishes a more consistent role in Chicago’s passing game, fantasy managers should consider other options at tight end.

Start: D’Andre Swift

Swift should play a prominent role in Chicago’s offense against Atlanta. With Monangai sidelined, Swift is in line for an increased workload as the Bears look to establish their running game.

Swift has also demonstrated his value as a receiver out of the backfield throughout his career, giving him multiple paths to fantasy production. With additional opportunities available on the ground and the potential for involvement in the passing game, Swift is a strong starting option for fantasy managers in Week 6.

Sit: Kalif Raymond

Kalif Raymond enters Week 6 amid a cold stretch. He has recorded just 12 receiving yards over his last two games, and Zavion Thomas played more snaps in Week 5.

Thomas could continue to challenge Raymond for playing time, making Raymond’s role less secure moving forward. Chicago also has an incentive to get its rookie involved as the team searches for a wide receiver to emerge as its top option. Until Raymond sees more consistent production and playing time, fantasy managers should look for alternatives.
