Apparently all it took was a good, old-fashioned road trip to get the Los Angeles Kings on track.
After dropping their first six games of the season, the Kings have won in the first two stops on their five-game swing through the East Coast and Midwest. Following up a 5-2 win over the Capitals in D.C. with a 3-2 overtime triumph against the Islanders on Thursday, LA is suddenly playing with a bit of confidence and Artemi Panarin is heating up.
Saturday's opponent has also found a bit of a groove. The Devils have won four of their last five, netting at least four goals in each of those victories. Arseny Gritsyuk has scored in four consecutive games and is tied with Nico Hischier with a team-high five goals this season, while Jack Hughes leads the squad with eight assists and 11 points.
Who will come out on top Saturday? Here's all you need to know to watch.
