The International Skating Union's 2026-27 Grand Prix series will kick off in France this weekend, marking the first of six events for the season.
Many of the top skaters in the world, including several Olympic medalists, will return to competition over the coming months. Athletes will be scattered across different events, each only skating twice as they attempt to qualify for December's Grand Prix Final.
There will be plenty of American talents to look out for this weekend in France. While Olympic champion Alyssa Liu is taking the season off, fans can expect to see other top skaters like Jacob Sanchez, Jimmy Ma, Christina Carreira, Anthony Ponomarenko, Sarah Everhardt and more on the ice.
Be sure to tune in for all the action from Angers, France.
