And just like that, it's all tied up. The Dream and Valkyries are now headed to Atlanta for a highly-anticipated Game 3 in the WNBA Finals.
Defensive Player of the Year Angel Reese had a monster game in the Bay Area on Monday night, tallying 30 points and 16 rebounds to help Atlanta even out the series, 1-1. Reese's teammates all pulled their weight as well — Rhyne Howard set a Finals record with six steals, while Allisha Gray scored 18 points and Jordin Canada added 13 more.
The Valkyries will need to find some grit and determination to play on the road for the next two games. Golden State struggled on offense in Game 2 even in front of a raucous home crowd, with star Gabby Williams only recording 14 points on 3-for-15 shooting. The Valkyries will also need to better their turnover rate if they want to stay competitive in ATL.
