Inter Miami will take on Atlanta United today at the Nu Stadium Stadium, with the Herons entering the match on the heels of a 7-1 thrashing of CF Montreal.
Powered by four goals from Lionel Messi, the Herons secured one of the biggest wins of the MLS season and will be looking to claim another three points against an Atlanta side that has struggled for results and is coming off a 2-0 loss to Charlotte FC.
In a positive sign for Atlanta, Inter Miami has won only four of their home matches so far this season. Atlanta will look to disrupt Miami’s attack, led by Messi, and prevent the Herons from finding their rhythm if they are to avoid Montréal fate.
For Kily Gonzalez, his side will need to tighten up defensively if they are to improve on their four wins, four losses and two draws record at home.
