Week 6 Players I Love in Fantasy Football

It's time to zero in on some players poised to deliver in Week 5, including Davante Adams against Arizona and Cam Skattebo for the G-Men.

Each week, I’ll be looking to spotlight players and defenses that I think have a strong matchup that should allow them to deliver above expectations. However, this is not intended as a blanket endorsement to play a fringe player ahead of an established stud—for example, even if I call out a plus matchup for Cam Ward, it doesn’t mean he should be played ahead of Josh Allen—so always consider your own lineup alternatives.

With that out of the way, let’s look at Week 6:

Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers

Love was locked in this past Sunday, throwing for 367 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a blowout win over the Chicago Bears. It was Love’s third game of 300-plus yards, and he’s had multiple TD passes all five weeks. He lit up the Dallas Cowboys in their 2025 meeting, passing for 337 yards and three TDs. Dallas’ defense is off to a bad start this year as well, ranking in the bottom five in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks.

Others I Like

  • Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears: All signs point to Williams returning to the field in Week 6, and the Atlanta Falcons represent a potential soft landing. Atlanta is one of just five teams to have allowed over 1,300 passing yards and at least 10 total TDs to opposing QBs this year.
  • Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams: Stafford has thrown for 300-plus yards in four straight outings. The Arizona Cardinals haven’t stopped anyone since Week 1. That includes giving up an NFL-leading 14 touchdown passes.
  • Kirk Cousins, Las Vegas Raiders: Only three teams have allowed more fantasy points to QBs than the Buffalo Bills, who just played a high-intensity overtime game on Monday night.

Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders

Las Vegas’ hot start has given way to back-to-back losses. Jeanty has averaged 102 combined yards in those setbacks, and he should be leaned on in Week 6. As mentioned above, the Bills will be playing on short rest after facing 78 offensive snaps on Monday night—they spent nearly 40 minutes on the field. The Raiders don’t want a shootout, so look for Jeanty to be heavily involved this week.

Others I Like

  • Cam Skattebo, New York Giants: Life without Jaxson Dart (knee) hasn’t gone smoothly for Skattebo. He’ll look to bounce back against the New Orleans Saints, who have allowed an NFL-leading 10 touchdowns to RBs this season.
  • Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans: The Indianapolis Colts have been a bottom-five defense versus running backs. That includes surrendering a league-high 264 receiving yards to RBs.
  • MarShawn Lloyd, Green Bay Packers: Lloyd scored twice in Week 5 and looks to have created a bit of separation in the team’s backfield. Only the Saints have given up more rushing yards to backs than Dallas (118 per game).

Wide Receivers

Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams

In two games without Puka Nacua, Adams totaled 15 catches, 332 yards, and two TDs. In three games with Nacua, he’s averaged just 36 yards. His value stems from his work in the red zone, which includes two touchdowns against the Bills on Monday night. No team has given up more receiving TDs to wideouts than Arizona (10).

Others I Like

  • Luther Burden III, Chicago Bears: Chicago got embarrassed in Green Bay, and Burden got called out after the game. Here’s a chance to respond. With Caleb Williams (hamstring) likely to return this Sunday, Burden has a plus matchup against a Falcons secondary that sits in the bottom 10 in terms of fantasy points allowed to receivers.
  • Jakobi Meyers, Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jags face the Houston Texans in London this week. That’s an advantage for Jacksonville, which played there in Week 5. It’s also an advantage for Meyers, who faces a defense that’s yielded the third-most receiving yards to wideouts.
  • Tre Tucker, Las Vegas Raiders: Buffalo ranks dead last in fantasy points allowed to WRs on the year. This tired defense could be ripe for exploitation by Tucker in Week 6.

Tight Ends

George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers

It’s been feast or famine for Kittle through five games. In Weeks 1 and 5, he managed just 36 combined yards on seven receptions. During the three games in between, Kittle racked up 14 catches, 232 yards, and four scores. The Washington Commanders have seen tight ends score seven times against them this season—that includes Isaiah Likely’s 11-94-2 line in Week 5.

Others I Like

  • Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles: Goedert returned from a two-game absence to catch a team-high six passes in Week 5. He’s Philly’s most dangerous red-zone target. That makes him a good fit for a matchup against a Carolina Panthers D that’s allowed a TD per game to TEs.
  • Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams: Higbee continues to play well in the absence of Terrance Ferguson (ankle). He can keep it going against Arizona this Sunday. The Cardinals rank 29th in fantasy points given up to the position.

Defensive Teams

  • Kansas City Chiefs: Has there been a worse offense this season than the Los Angeles Chargers? LA ranks 31st in sacks allowed (17) and last in giveaways (13). On top of that, the Chiefs are coming off their bye.
  • Los Angeles Rams: The Rams struggled defensively on Monday night. I expect this group to be fired up in Week 6. Arizona’s numbers aren’t terrible, but they’re heavily buoyed by garbage time. If LA comes to play, this could get ugly.
  • Indianapolis Colts: Indy hosts an anemic Tennessee Titans offense in Week 6. That should make the Colts a high-floor option.
