Golden State guard Steph Curry reached another milestone this NBA season. The veteran star was named an NBA All-Star again.

In mid-January, the league confirmed Curry as a starter for the 75th NBA All-Star Game. It marks his 12th selection and 11th start. The game will take place on Sunday at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. Curry holds the record for most All-Star selections in Golden State Warriors history.

On Friday, Curry took time to thank the fans who voted him in. He shared a post on X that showed his gratitude.

“12th year as an All-Star! Blessed and grateful. I wouldn’t be here without you, the fans 💛💙,” Curry wrote.

Curry won't play in the revamped NBA All-Star Game format because of a knee injury. He was replaced on the roster by the Toronto Raptors' Brandon Ingram.

Curry continues to produce at a high level in his 17th season. Through 39 games, he averages 27.2 points, 4.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds. He shoots 46.8% from the field and 39.1% from three. Over his last four games, he averaged 28.5 points while shooting over 42% from deep.

The injury has forced him to miss multiple games. Even so, he ranks ninth in the league in scoring.

Golden State enters the break at 29-26, eighth in the Western Conference. The team averages 115.5 points per game. Injuries have affected consistency, but the Warriors remain in the playoff race. Draymond Green leads the team in assists, while Jimmy Butler III was contributing scoring prowess before he was lost for the season to an injury.

Curry’s message to fans reflects his connection to the franchise. As the postseason push continues, he stays focused on leading Golden State forward.

The 75th NBA All-Star Game begins at 5 p.m. ET Sunday on NBC and Peacock. The Warriors return to action at 8 p.m. ET Thursday by hosting the Boston Celtics.
