The Toronto Blue Jaysthird basemanVladimir Guerrero Jr. is in the middle of one of his worst seasons since making his debut with the club in 2019, batting .259 with six home runs and 44 RBIs. Even then, he was still selected to the All-Star roster but decided against it due to lingering back discomfort and to prepare for the second half of the season.
Since returning from the All-Star break on July 17, Guerrero has hit .246 with three RBIs and a .598 OPS. Despite the struggles on the field, Guerrero has managed to stay active off of it.

On Friday, the 27-year-old announced on his Instagram story that he is hosting an Alltroo Rally, a fan giveaway offering one winner a VIP weekend in Toronto. The prize includes two tickets each to the Sept. 12 and Sept. 13 games at Rogers Centre, a two-night hotel stay, round-trip flights for two, and a pregame batting practice meet-and-greet with Guerrero. Fans can enter the giveaway at: https://alltroo.com/rally/vladimir-guerrero-jr/
The giveaway supports a cause beyond baseball. Proceeds benefit Change Starts With Me, which is directing funds towards relief efforts for Venezuela following the devastating earthquakes that struck the country in June.

The giveaway is another off-field initiative that Guerrero has supported in his time in Toronto. This one allows Blue Jays fans and the community a way to rally behind a good cause in the middle of a season that has been disappointing for a club that was heading towards a World Series appearance just a year ago.
