Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette's best season as a duo with the Toronto Blue Jays came in possibly their final year together. During a dream 2025 season, the two carried Toronto to a first-place division title in the American League East.
Bichette missed most of the 2025 postseason with a left knee injury, not returning until the World Series, but Guerrero picked up the slack, having a historic hot stretch in Bichette's absence.
Unfortunately, they both came up just short, as the two faces of Toronto's franchise ultimately lost Game 7 against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Bichette had one of the most memorable home runs in franchise history when he launched a towering three-run shot off Dodgers right-hander Shohei Ohtani. Unfortunately for Blue Jays fans, they were unable to hold onto to the lead.

In the offseason, the Blue Jays and Bichette went separate ways as he signed a three-year, $126 million deal to join the New York Mets.
The move officially ended a near decade-long partnership between him and Guerrero that began even before both players debuted at the big-league level in 2019.
However, despite the bittersweet end between the two, they still formed an unbreakable bond, and Guerrero and Bichette shared a moment Monday when Bichette returned to Rogers Centre for the first time as a visitor.
On Tuesday, after the game, Guerrero made a post for his former teammate on Instagram. "BO KNOWS...," Guerrero wrote, acknowledging Bichette's nickname.
The post included both of them interacting before the game, along with some throwback photos chronicling the journey they went on together, one that ultimately had a bittersweet ending.
