Team USA closed the 2026 Winter Olympics in stunning fashion with a thrilling overtime victory over Team Canada in the men’s ice hockey gold-medal game. The win marked the United States' 12th gold medal at the Winter Games, its highest total ever, and the players celebrated in style.

The victory ended a 46-year gold-medal drought for the Americans, who last topped the podium in 1980. Both teams scored once in regulation, sending the game into overtime, where Jack Hughes drilled the game-winning goal just 1 minute and 41 seconds into extra time.

After a wild celebration in Milan, the team flew back to the United States on Monday. While the players were scheduled to land in New York, a massive blizzard diverted them to Miami. They continued the party and were spotted Monday night at the popular hotspot E11EVEN MIAMI, with the New York Rangers captain J.T. Miller leading the festivities.

The 32-year-old was crowd-surfed to the hockey team’s “Free Bird” anthem blasting over the sound system, and he even took the mic to sing another team favorite, Toby Keith’s “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue.”

While Miller didn’t score in the gold-medal game, he played a crucial role, particularly on the massive penalty kill that successfully neutralized Canada’s power play. Fans were thrilled to see him celebrating:

"Most emotion we’ve seen from him all season!" one fan wrote.

"Exactly how these guys should be celebrating!" wrote another.

"This is absolutely so cool!" a third added.

"Happiest I’ve ever seen JT," one fan noted.

"Yeah he’s not playing Thursday 😂😂😂," another fan joked.

The gold medal was Miller’s first Olympic win, as well as the first for the rest of the men’s ice hockey team. While they can celebrate as they please, the team will need to sober up quickly for a White House visit with President Trump scheduled for Tuesday. Miller, meanwhile, has until Thursday before the New York Rangers play again.
