The San Antonio Spurs are on the road on Friday night as they travel to take on the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.
Of course, the Spurs enter Friday’s game looking to bounce back after losing at home in Game 2 on Tuesday night as they saw the Trail Blazers tie the series at 1-1.

Now San Antonio will try to steal a victory on the road in Game 3 on Friday as they try to regain control of the series.
While the Spurs are looking to pick up a key victory on the road in Game 3 on Friday, they may be without one of their star players due to injury.
Spurs List Victor Wembanyama as Questionable for Game 3
Ahead of Game 3, the Spurs announced that they have listed star center Victor Wembanyama as questionable for Friday’s matchup.

Of course, Wembanyama left Game 2 after suffering a concussion in the second quarter following a hard fall and his availability is in doubt for Friday’s contest.
Despite this, it is a positive sign for the Spurs that he was able to travel with the team and that he is listed as questionable instead of already being ruled out.

While that may be the case, the star center still has to clear the NBA’s concussion protocol ahead of Friday’s game and if he is unable to do so, he will miss his first game of the playoffs.
If Wembanyama is sidelined for Game 3, Luke Kornet will likely draw a start in his place while the Spurs may rely on Stephon Castle and De’Aaron Fox to carry the load offensively.

San Antonio will also need others to step up on the defensive end if Wembanyama is sidelined as his loss could be a major factor on that side of the ball, especially after he was named Defensive Player of the Year.
Fans can catch Game 3 of the first-round series between the Spurs and Trail Blazers from Portland at 10:30 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime Video.
