Everyone has their own idea of how to unwind when you're faced with stress. San Antonio Spurs megastar Victor Wembanyama might have had the most unusual idea thus far on how to do so ahead of the NBA Finals tomorrow.
According to ESPN's Michael C. Wright, Wemby treated the entire Spurs team to a screening of the hit horror movie "Obsession." It was apparently an effort to help the team "wind down" from the emotions of their Game 7 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
"Source confirms that Victor Wembanyama treated the team to a screening of the movie 'Obsession' as the Spurs tried to wind down from the emotional toll of Game 7 heading into the Finals."
Likeable or Risky?
NBA fans were pretty impressed that Wembanyama would try to take his Spurs teammates to one of the better films out in theaters right now.
"IDK if that’s the movie I would unwind too but to each their own," one user replied on X.
"A man of taste. The lore grows further," wrote another.
"Can he stop being likable for like 2 weeks? C'mon," a third joked.

Others were a little worried that watching a skin-crawling horror movie that would likely give his teammates nightmares and make it hard to sleep might not have been the best way to unwind for the biggest games of their careers.
"My daughter saw that movie last week and didn’t sleep for 48 hours. Knicks in five," one joked.
"Yeah Vic let’s calm the teams nerves by watching one of the most unsettling horror movies to come out in years."
"Using Obsession, one of the creepiest, most skin-crawling movies out there, as a medium to 'wind down' is incredible. lmao Wemby is a different breed."
"That's a movie psychopaths wind down to. Noted."
It's not exactly the kind of movie that most people would see to de-stress. But to each their own.
