The United States Men's National Team (USMNT) will return to action at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to host Portugal for another friendly match ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
The USMNT will look to improve after losing to Belgium over the weekend. The USMNT impressed fans in the first half and took the lead against Belgium, but all went wrong in the second half.
The USMNT lost 5-2 to Belgium after leading 1-0 in the first half with a goal from Weston McKennie. Belgium equalized before halftime with a long strike from Zeno Debast.
In the second half, Belgium scored four more goals: one from Amadou Onana, one from Charles De Ketelaere from the penalty spot, and two goals from Dodi Lukebakio.
Over the weekend, Portugal played against Mexico at the newly renovated Estadio Azteca. Portugal drew 0-0 with Mexico, with star players like Bruno Fernandes in action.
