USC women's basketball star Jazzy Davidson has emerged as a fan favorite this March.
Davidson had an incredible freshman season at USC, averaging 17.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. She saved arguably her best performance of the year for the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The former Clackamas High star had 31 points in an overtime victory over Clemson.
Although USC was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament earlier this week, Davidson is still firmly in the spotlight.
Roughly 24 hours ago, Davidson was named the Tamika Catchings National Freshman Player of the Year. She joined JuJu Watkins as the second USC player to ever win this award.

As for Davidson's personal life, it appears she's dating one of the top men's college basketball players in the country.
A week ago, Davidson posted a "photo dump" on Instagram that showcased her life on and off the hardwood. Interestingly enough, Tennessee star Nate Ament commented on Davidson's post.
"I’m the luckiest man alive," Ament wrote.
Who is Nate Ament?
For fans who are unfamiliar with Amen's game, they'll get a chance to see him in action this Friday night when No. 6 seed Tennessee takes on No. 2 seed Iowa State in the Sweet 16.
After going scoreless in Tennessee's first-round win over No. 11 seed Miami (Ohio), Ament had 16 points in a 79-72 win over No. 3 seed Virginia.
As of this moment, Ament is projected to be a top-10 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. He's been highly productive for Tennessee this year, averaging 16.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
