After a disappointing season one year removed from a Super Bowl victory, the Eagles made significant changes. Sean Mannion was named the new offensive coordinator, and AJ Brown was traded after his relationship with the team fell apart.
With the first week of training camp in the books, let's take a look at what the Eagles' 53-man roster could look like come opening day.
Offense: Jalen Hurts and familiar names faced with the challenge of a new system

Quarterback (3):Jalen Hurts, Tanner McKee, Cole Payton. By drafting Payton in the fifth round, the Eagles signaled they are more interested in developing a young quarterback with upside than keeping another veteran presence like Andy Dalton.
Running Back (3):Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby, Will Shipley. Look for Bigsby to have a much larger role in Mannion's system, on the ground and in the passing game. Shipley and Dameon Pierce are both battling for the third spot, but Shipley's ability as a returner and receiver will give him the edge.
Wide Receiver (6): DeVonta Smith, Makai Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks, Hollywood Brown, Elijah Moore, Darius Cooper. The Eagles entered training camp with 11 receivers on the roster. Smith, Lemon, Wicks and Brown appear to be roster locks and with reports of Moore getting a significant number of snaps with the starters, he and Cooper, who has outperformed Johnny Wilson, are expected to make the roster.
Tight End (3): Dallas Goedert, Johnny Mundt, Eli Stowers. Even though Goedert inked a one-year, $7 million extension, Stowers was selected in the second round to secure the future of the position. Stowers will be used as another deep threat for Hurts, but training camp has indicated Mundt will see the field in 12 personnel.
Offensive Line (10): Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Tyler Steen, Fred Johnson, Markel Bell, Drew Kendall, Myles Hinton, Micah Morris. The entire starting unit from last season returns, this time without offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland. With Johnson and Dickerson missing time last season and Jurgens playing injured, the line should improve if everyone stays healthy.
Defense: Vic Fangio's unit remains loaded
Interior (6): Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo, Byron Young, Ty Robinson, Gabe Hall. Ojomo and Davis had breakout seasons last year, second and third on the team in sacks respectively. With Carter now fully healthy and with a new contract, the interior is talented and deep.
Edge Rushers (5): Jonathan Greenard, Jalyx Hunt, Nolan Smith Jr, A.J. Epenesa, Arnold Ebiketie. Fans have not been able to see Greenard in an Eagles uniform yet after he landed on the PUP list early due to a pectoral injury, but his résumé speaks for itself as one of the NFL's most productive edge rushers. Combined with reports that Hunt has been unblockable in training camp and Epenesa putting together a strong camp, this edge room has the potential to be a nightmare for opposing offensive lines.
Linebacker (4): Zack Baun, Jihaad Campbell, Jeremiah Trotter Jr., Smael Mondon Jr. With Nakobe Dean signing with the Las Vegas Raiders, Campbell will be the full-time starter next to Baun. Trotter Jr. and Mondon Jr. have experience in the system and will both have roles on special teams.
Defensive Back (10): Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, Riq Woolen, Drew Mukuba, Marcus Epps, Kelee Ringo, Michael Carter II, Jonathan Jones, Jakorian Bennett, J.T. Gray. Woolen was a much-needed addition, securing the second outside corner position next to Mitchell. Gray, a three-time All-Pro, will be an ace on special teams.
Special Teams (3):Jake Elliott, Braden Mann, Rocco Underwood. Despite Elliott having the second-worst year of his career percentage wise, no competition was brought in during camp. Elliott's cap hit is no longer backbreaking, so he could be cut during the season if his performance continues to drop.
