UFC Heavyweight prospect Josh Hokit showed up to the official weigh-ins on Saturday morning for UFC Freedom 250 looking visibly nauseous and dizzy, before stepping on the scale and vomiting on his chest. The vomit seemed to be fake, and Hokit was clearly in character.
“The Incredible Hok” is known for his brash persona and has been engaging in antics during the buildup to the White House event this Sunday, June 14. During the press conference, Hokit was constantly interrupting fighters who tried to answer questions.
He will fight heavyweight knockout artist and former UFC interim title challenger, Derrick Lewis.

Hokit Hurls at Weigh-Ins
Here is a clip of the bizarre weigh-in (via Championship Rounds):
After the fake vomit landed on his chest, Hokit told reporters, “So what, maybe I was drinking last night. Who wouldn't be? I have a giant black man that wants to knock me out.”
“He has the most knockouts in UFC history,” he continued, referencing his opponent, Lewis.

After Hokit was told to stay still by a weigh-in official, Hokit addressed reporters, asking, “What are you guys looking at?” before stumbling off the scale.
Fan Reactions
These types of antics have become normal since his introduction to the roster, previously getting in a physical altercation with former light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka during media day for UFC 327.
For most UFC fans, this persona has been met with accusations of being cringeworthy and unfunny. Here are a few reactions in response to Championship Rounds and Happy Punch on X, which posted a clip of the weigh-in:
Derek pls knock his a— out cold.
I just don’t get this guy. Just not even funny. Wish he would just shut the f— up. Should’ve kept the ‘Macho man savage’ trash talk instead of this shit and the crap at the presser.
He thinks he’s Conor [McGregor].
What an a—, he’s not even remotely funny.
‘Threw up.’ Guy spit out some apple sauce he stashed in his mouth.
Jesus f— Christ, who the f— likes this? A fighter vomiting on himself? Y'all tune in for this? Foh.
Don’t think I’ve hated a UFC fighter more. So performative, attention-seeking, and cringe.
Idc if it’s an act, this dude is f— weird and lame.
I will never watch the UFC ever again. This is some f— WWE shit. I hate this motherf—. F— the UFC. Thank f— there are other MMA organizations. Never watching this garbage again.

With his fight against Lewis looming, both Hokit’s admirers and haters will look forward to seeing him either victorious against a UFC fan favorite or to see him out cold at the hands of the UFC’s knockout leader.
