Main Event Breakdown
This five-round lightweight bout pits a battle-tested veteran against an exciting new addition to the division.
Dan Hooker is looking to snap a two-fight skid against the elite of the division. Meanwhile, Salahdine Parnasse is a -550 favorite according to the UFC and is a former two-division champion in KSW who makes his long-awaited UFC debut in front of a hometown crowd.
The central question for this main event is whether Hooker’s experience and toughness can withstand the youth and technical prowess of the Frenchman making his debut.
Co-Main Event
While the main event is the draw, the best fight on the main card could very well be the co-main event. Farès Ziam will face Axel Sola in a lightweight clash between two French fighters looking to climb the ranks.
Both fighters have high-level striking and grappling, and both men are eager to secure a victory in front of their countrymen. Whoever wins could get closer to a top-15 ranking in the division, making this fight an explosive, high-stakes battle for French MMA supremacy.
Underrated Fights
Do not sleep on the prelims, which feature some serious action.
Morgan Charriere vs. Felipe Lima
This featherweight bout headlines the preliminary card and is a must-watch. The French Charrière is a fan favorite in his home country, and he will look to deliver for the home crowd against a tough Brazilian in Lima.
This fight is likely to produce fireworks.
Delphine Benouaich vs. Sofia Montenegro
For fans of the women’s strawweight division, the very first bout of the card between France’s Delphine Benouaich and Argentina’s Sofia Montenegro is one to watch. It’s a fun stylistic matchup between two strikers making their UFC debut, showcasing new blood in the division.
