Natalia Silva and Wang Cong will clash this weekend for the vacant women’s flyweight championship in the main event of UFC 332, marking the first time since the division’s inaugural title fight was contested in 2017 that a UFC women’s flyweight championship bout will not involve the legendary Valentina Shevchenko.
The dominant flyweight queen vacated her title after suffering ligament damage in her shoulder and back that will sideline her for approximately a year. With Shevchenko already promised a title shot upon her return, the winner of Saturday’s main event will inherit the belt and the opportunity to fight her in the future.

Co-Main Event Breakdown: Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Payton Talbott
The co-main event features an exciting bantamweight clash with serious title implications, as former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo meets rising star Payton Talbott.
Figueiredo, a former UFC flyweight king, has been going through a rough patch in the bantamweight division, with back-to-back losses to Umar Nurmagomedov and Song Yadong. At 38 years old, he will have to fight flawlessly if he wants to return to the win column against a young and hungry Talbott.
Talbott, one of the sport’s most hyped prospects, has passed almost every test with flying colors, displaying a complete skill set and a confidence befitting that of a future champion. He has already defeated a former champion in Henry Cejudo, and he seeks to replicate that success against Figueiredo.
Figueiredo’s path to victory lies in his devastating counter-striking and grappling ability. Talbott’s route is his slick striking, forward-moving pressure, and ability to set a relentless pace. A win for Talbott could vault him closer to title contention, while a win for Figueiredo proves he remains a championship-level force at bantamweight.
Underrated Fights to Watch
Beyond the top two bouts, UFC 332’s main card and prelims offer several compelling matchups worth your attention.
King Green vs. Esteban Ribovics (Lightweight)
A generational clash of action fighters. Green, at 40, is on a four-fight win streak and still possesses slick counter-striking that makes him a fan favorite. Ribovics, who also relies primarily on his boxing skills, recently retired Edson Barboza with a vicious knockout. This fight will be a striking war where someone likely goes to sleep.
Roberto Soldic vs. Khaos Williams (Welterweight)
Soldic, a two-division KSW champion, makes his UFC debut on the main card after signing with the promotion. The Croatian “Robocop” brings 18 knockouts in 21 career wins and will test himself immediately against Williams, a veteran with menacing power and 11 UFC fights.
Imanol Rodriguez vs. Alden Coria (Flyweight)
A battle of undefeated UFC fighters. Rodriguez, a TUF 33 standout and Contender Series veteran, boasts a 7-0 record with a 100-percent finishing rate. Coria is 3-0 in the UFC, including a short-notice stoppage win over Alessandro Costa. This is a significant step-up fight for both prospects, and the winner announces themselves as a future flyweight contender.
