Braylon Mullins and the No. 2 seed UConn Huskies are preparing for a national championship matchup against the No. 1 Michigan Wolverines on Monday. The Huskies are looking to stay hot following a commanding 71-62 win over the No. 3 Illinois Fighting Illini in the Final Four.
Looking to bring home the Huskies' third NCAA title in four years, Mullins will continue to be relied on. This season, the true freshman guard is averaging 12 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 43% from the field and 33.7% from the three-point line. Coming out of the 2025 cycle as a four-star recruit, per Rivals Industry Rankings, he is exceeding expectations.

As UConn chases its seventh national championship win in program history, Mullins has been thrust into the spotlight, and taken advantage of the opportunity. This season, he has revealed name, image and likeness partnerships with OLIPOP, NBA 2K, Homefield Apparel and TurboTax.
On Monday, before taking on Michigan, he announced a new NIL deal with Raising Cane's, writing "Locked in @raisingcanes #CaniacAmbassador," via an Instagram post.
Cashing in on yet another deal is becoming the norm for Mullins. His On3 NIL valuation of $803,000 is the 18th-highest for any shooting guard in college basketball. It is also the second-highest for anyone on the Huskies, sitting behind Silas Demary Jr. ($1.1 million).
Following his latest partnership announcement, Mullins and UConn are locked in on Michigan. With an NCAA title on the line, DraftKings places the Huskies as 6.5-point underdogs. The game is scheduled to begin at 8:50 p.m. ET at Lucas Oil Stadium, airing on TBS, truTV and HBO Max.
